Recent Nursing Care Home Reform Proposals

Home care nursing services management should realize and recognize that it is extremely important to meet and fulfill the needs and desires of the client. This is mainly because potential clients can either use their choice of staying at home, get self-care or move to a supportive living facility. Better homes not only advocate, but also emphasize culture change so that their focus is primarily on customer service and customer satisfaction. Care homes realize that customer satisfaction plays an important role in their survival, success and livelihood.

Some basic improvements to a better nursing care home

The Department of Social Services should introduce an online system that lists all care and licensing information related to ownership, licensing, complaints, surveys, and home care facilities with information.

Reg Regulatory bodies should conduct unannounced or surprise inspections of all facilities at least once a year and as often as necessary to maintain and ensure high quality care. Inspectors should assess compliance with existing laws and regulations.

Social services should respond to consumer complaints. They should start investigating the complaint in a timely manner within a certain time frame and they should inform the complainants on the findings and give them ample opportunity to appeal.

Increased fines and penalties should be imposed for any violation of existing laws and regulations:

If Ning is found guilty of non-compliance, Ning prohibits new entry.

The Statutory Bill of Rights of Residents should be a modern and comprehensive bill of rights for residents to get prohibitive relief in case of violation of rights.

Staff and administrators must be fully qualified and well trained.

The rights of family councils and resident councils should be retained

Ision provision for liability insurance.
